Biological imaging is an important research tool for understanding tissue structure and elucidating the various physiological functions of living organisms. It uses light or electron microscopy to obtain direct images of the microstructure of biological cells and tissues, and the resulting images are analyzed to understand the various physiological processes of biological cells. The LSM 900 is optimal for confocal imaging with the four commonly used dyes. The entire system is fully motorized for autofocusing over large fields of view. It comes with an artificial intelligent (AI) Sample finder that enables the user to map their sample with flexibility to zone in on regions of interest. In addition to the confocal GaAsP detectors, the system has an Axiocam camera and an ESID for widefield fluorescence or transmitted light imaging.
