Optical microscopy, allows us to see and understand the microscopic world beyond our perception. The Elyra PS.1 system allows for imaging beyond the diffraction limit of standard confocal microscopy. The PS.1 system utilizes either Structured Illumination Microscopy (SIM) to increase the resolving capabilities down to approximately 100 nm or Photo Activation Light Microscopy (PALM) to resolve down to 20 nm. TIRF optics, an integrated FCS analysis module and photon counting capabilities are also available with the system.
