This confocal has excitation lasers at 402, 448, 488, 514, 561, and 640 nm, and detects emission in blue through far-red ranges. Confocal scans can also be combined with differential interference contrast (DIC) imaging. This instrument combines high sensitivity GaAsP detectors, high speed resonant scanning, and noise reducing software. Lateral resolution of approximately 120 nm can be achieved. This instrument is also equipped with a 514 nm FLIM laser.
