CD BioSciences' animal imaging technology platform has multiple state-of-the-art instruments to study cardiovascular function, skeletal morphology, metabolism, and more by performing ultrasound and computed tomography imaging on live animals. Our Mauna Kea Cellvizio In Vivo Confocal-based animal imaging service is the right choice for you.
Probes
1. 300 mm beveled or flat tip (deep brain imaging in mice or other organs if low invasiveness is required)
2. 650 mm flat tip (deep brain imaging in rats or other organs if low invasiveness is required)
3. 1.5 mm round tip (general applications)
4. 4.2 mm high resolution 100 nm working distance (vessels and angiogenesis)
5. 1.8 mm long working distance (blood flow through vessel wall without penetration, deep cells in tumors or organs)
6. UltraMinio high resolution (vessels, angiogenesis, cell morphology)
7. MiniZ (cavities, eyes)
8. Cerboplex (brain imaging)
Software
1. Hyperscan Module for ultra-fast imaging
2. Vessel detection software for automatic delineation of vessels, capillaries and vascular bed
3. Mosaicing software for stitching images for reconstruction of tissues and organs.
The Cellvizio is a dual band (488 and 660nm) probe based confocal laser endomicroscopy system. It is ideal for molecular imaging at the cell level for preclinical research. Applications include in vivo imaging in neurosciences (deep brain imaging), cancer and inflammation (spleen, liver, etc) and cardiovascular (vessels, plaques). Imaging is performed by inserting a small fiber optic probe into an incision.
