The Scanning Probe Microscope (SPM) is an international surface analysis instrument developed in recent years, which is a high-tech product that integrates optical, mechanical, and electrical technology by using optoelectronics, laser technology, weak signal detection technology, applied optics technology, computer high-speed acquisition and control, and high-resolution graphics processing technology and other modern technological achievements. CD BioSciences offers JEOL JSM-7200F SEM-based scanning probe microscopy imaging services.
It is capable of operating in a wide range of conditions, including:
• Detectors
1. Chamber mounted Everhart-Thornley (ETD) which can be operated in various modes.
2. In Column Detector (UED)
3. Retractable BSE detector
4. Visible light camera for viewing sample/column
• Additional Attachments
1. Oxford XMax20 EDS Detector
2. Oxford NordlysMax2 EBSD Detector
3. Load lock to speed up sample loading and promote clean vacuum conditions.
4. XXX Sample cleaner mounted to the load lock.
The JEOL JSM-7200F is equipped with a field emission gun (FEG) filament. Its primary purpose in the RMMF is to act as a high resolution and high throughput analytical SEM for EDS and EBSD.
