Optical microscopy, allows us to see and understand the microscopic world beyond our perception. Today, optical microscopy is at the heart of many scientific and technical fields, including life sciences, biology, materials science, nanotechnology, industrial inspection, medicine, and many more. CD BioSciences, the imaging experts, can provide you with optical microscopy imaging services based on Olympus LSM FV1000.
Microscope
Inverted research microscope Olympus Olympus IX-81 equipped with
1. motorized filter cassette
2. motorized revolving nose piece
3. motorized z-drive
4. motorized stage SCAN IM 112 × 74 mm from Märzhäuser
5. 100 W halogen lamp for transmission light
6. Long working distance condenser IX2-LWUCD (working distance 27 mm, NA 0.55)
7. DIC imaging via:
1) DIC polarizer unit IX1-MLWPO (mounted on condenser)
2) Dedicated DIC prisms for 20× (IX2-MDIC20) and 60× (IX2-MDIC60) objectives
3) DIC slider U-DICTS (below revolving noisepiece)
4) DIC analyzer IX2-MDICT (located in filter turret)
Temperature control
Sample heating and cooling via
1. Bionomic system with sample cell BC-250W and BC-110 temperature controller from 20/20 Technology, Inc.
1) Sample holder accepts standard 35 mm petri dishes
2) Control range: 0℃ - 60℃; below 25℃ water cooling is mandatory (1 l/min)
3) Temperature accuracy: +/- 0.2℃
4) Temperature stability: +/- 0.1℃
5) Water cooling by F25-MC Refrigerated/Heati
This confocal laser scanning microscope setup consists of a fully motorized microscope, the cLSM unit FV-1000 from Olympus and a compact fluorescence lifetime and FCS upgrate kit from Picoquant.
