The Leica TCS SP8 confocal has been designed for confocal microscopy with optimal photon efficiency and high speed. This system has 4 detectors (2 GaAsP and 2 PMT), 6 laser lines (405, 458, 488, 514, 568, and 633) and a motorized stage. There is a 10× air objective, 20× multi-immersion objective, and 63× oil objective with a very large field of view (comparable to 40×).
