As one of the critical departments of CD BioSciences, the main scope of the Optical Imaging Centre includes the maintenance of optical imaging equipment, training, experimental services, and the development of some novel optical imaging techniques and methods. We currently have several optical microscopes to meet the needs of experiments such as transparent whole brain mapping, in vivo imaging, live cell imaging, and high throughput biological screening. At the same time, our scientists can design reasonable and effective imaging solutions for you, providing high-quality data and technical support.
The Horiba LabRam Evolution at CNS currently has 532 nm and 633 nm excitation lines. It has a 800 mm spectrometer with 600 blaze grating and an 1800 blaze grating and a Synapse CCD detector. It has 10×, 20× LWD, 50× LWD, and 100× microscope objectives. It is also equipped with a motorized confocal aperture, an XYZ motorized stage, duoscan mirrors, and SWIFT mapping options.
