As one of the critical departments of CD BioSciences, the main scope of the Optical Imaging Centre includes the maintenance of optical imaging equipment, training, experimental services, and the development of some novel optical imaging techniques and methods. We currently have several optical microscopes to meet the needs of experiments such as transparent whole brain mapping, in vivo imaging, live cell imaging, and high throughput biological screening. At the same time, our scientists can design reasonable and effective imaging solutions for you, providing high-quality data and technical support.
Transmission, reflection, and ATR modes of data collection are available. ATR crystal is a single bounce Ge crystal. Analysis spot size as small as 5 µm × 5 µm. Spectral range from 7500-600 cm-1. (1.4 µm to 16.6 µm). Motorized stage for mapping of sample. Built in polarized optical microscope for navigation of samples. LN2 cooled MCT detector.
