The NextSeq550 is a high-throughput sequencer that can be operated with either a mid-output or high-output flow cell. With the currently available kits, read lengths of up to 150 bases can be generated. Either single-read (SR) or paired-end (PE) sequencing can be performed. With a typical run, we generate around 400 million reads per high-output flow cell.
