Built on an inverted Observer Z7 microscope stand and equipped with a high-precision motorized X-Y and Z stage with Piezo Z-drive, the system delivers much improved confocal imaging in fundamental imaging elements, sensitivity, speed and resolution. In addition to the Airyscan detector, the system has four other detectors, a Quasar detector for efficient spectral imaging/linear unmixing, a transmission light detector for brightfield imaging (T-PMT) and two standard PMT detectors. "Airyscan Fast module" delivers 4 times faster acquisition speed (up to 100 fps) and resolution improvement (1.5 fold) while minimizing photobleaching in live cell imaging. The available objectives are EC Plan-Neofluar 10×/0.3 NA, C. Apochromat 40×/1.2 NA, water-immersion and Plan Apochromat 63×/1.4 NA, oil-immersion.
