Before imaging, the sample needs to be processed. Different sample preparation methods are used for different samples and usually involve sampling, fixation, tissue and sectioning, staining/immunohistochemistry/in situ hybridization, and sealing. Sample preparation is essential to obtain clear and realistic imaging results. CD BioSciences offers different sample preparation services for different imaging methods. We are proud to offer you our Ted Pella-based imaging sample preparation service.
This lab-microwave considerably reduces the time required for epoxy-resin (EPON) embedding of specimens for transmission electron microscopy. It has an adjustable power of 100 - 750 Watts @ 2.45 GHz and enhances processing of tissue for paraffin-, immunofluorescence- and confocal specimen processing. Further, decalcification, e.g., of bones can be accelerated with this device which is equipped with a magnetic stirrer and a vacuum system.
