Electron microscopes can excite electrons to form images that magnify micron and nanostructures up to 10 million times, providing amazing levels of fine magnification and allowing researchers to observe even individual atoms. CD BioSciences can provide innovative solutions for electron microscopy and microanalysis. We offer Leica - EM GP that allow customers to combine high-resolution imaging with physical, elemental, chemical and electrical analysis to obtain usable data from the widest range of samples.
The plunge freezer is used to most rapidly deep-freeze small amounts of solutions with the structures contained therein, e.g., viruses or exosomes in a way that amorphous ice is formed. Thereby samples on special grids which are frozen at below -165℃ with help of a cryo transfer system are introduced into the transmission electron microscope. Here we can examine the untreated specimen which is free of fixation and contrasting artefacts, which, however, has a considerably lower contrast.
CD BioSciences provides Leica - EM GP-based electron microscopy imaging services to our clients. If you are interested, please feel free to contact us.
