Combining CD BioSciences' strong protein production capabilities with powerful biophysical and biochemical analytical techniques and accumulated experience in the direction of crystal structures, our Crystal Structures Division can provide quality crystallization services to meet the needs of our customers.
The Formulatrix RockImager RI182 imaging system can host up to 182 SBS-type crystallization plates at controlled temperature. The camera and processing software are optimized for the imaging of crystallization experiments with total volumes of 200 – 500 nL. High optical resolution is achieved by acquiring multiple thin slices which are then combined into one extended focus image. Images are stored in a database and linked with experimental metadata. Xtalplatform users can inspect and score their experiments with the RockMaker client or online via RockMakerWeb.
