Biological imaging is an important research tool for understanding tissue structure and elucidating the various physiological functions of living organisms. It uses light or electron microscopy to obtain direct images of the microstructure of biological cells and tissues, and the resulting images are analyzed to understand the various physiological processes of biological cells. CD BioSciences' Bioimaging Centre has dozens of devices and, more importantly, our expertise and experience are invaluable to the industries and clients we serve. We can provide DeltaVision Core Microscope System-based bioimaging services.
1. A fully integrated system based on an Olympus IX-71 inverted microscope.
2. The system has a high-power LED light source, 10-position excitation filter wheel, and 6-position emission filter wheel to provide rapid multi-channel acquisition.
3. Two diode lasers (405 & 488 nm) for FRAP, photoactivation, and photoconversion.
4. Objectives available:
1) 40×, 63×, and 100× oil-immersion
2) 63× water-immersion
5. Long-term live-cell imaging with the opaque environmental chamber.
6. Fast and easy deconvolution of z-stacks with a high-efficiency EMCCD camera and integrated optics.
